Many side missions are less than appealing for new players (while real ME rats would surely try to complete them all). Narrative is segmented and gags sometimes, but so does most open-world games with a main campaign in it. This is what made first game special, and it's even better here. Game mechanics are the best part of the package and you'll certainly get compelled taking the next mission for another dose of first person running. Some tech issues exist (like these annoying light-effect and shadows pop-ups) but I'm sure they're easily fixable. It's nice to see they brought back some of the main story elements that made the original rather original.
